The Imperial Treasures made by exceptional Japanese artisans

Today I want to present the NHK Documentary in four parts about the Imperial Meiji Treasures made by exceptional Japanese artisans like Namikawa Yasuyuki and his magnificent black cloisonné-shippō-yaki (七宝焼), the textile artisan 川島甚兵衛 Kawashima Jinbee II  and Shomin Unno who created the extraordinary Ranryo-o figure.

Enjoy!
